Jordan’s day was a bit better today than yesterday. She had Teresa as a nurse today, for the first time. She really likes Teresa. Teresa has two teenage daughters, so I think she can relate fairly well to Jordan.
I was diagnosed with CML (Chronic Mylogenous Leukemia) on Feb 6, 2006. I had a bone marrow transplant on June 14, 2006. My donor was unrelated and to this day we do not know who he is and have not had a chance to thank him for his very selfless act of saving my life. We share this story in hopes it will help raise awareness about childhood cancer and the importance of becoming a bone marrow donor.
